Background Check Policy

All SoCO Eats Delivery Driver applicants must authorize and pass a background check that covers criminal background and DMV history.
You will receive an email link to initiate your background check. Your background check will be performed by checkr.com. The background check will be initiated after you download the SoCO Eats: Delivery Driver app and complete the SoCO Eats Delivery Driver registration.
Background checks are different for each individual, so the return time for the requested background check can vary. SoCO Eats utilizes a third party to conduct all background checks, and they unfortunately do not specify a time frame.
To check the status of your background check, please visit applicant.checkr.com. If your background check is still pending, then please double-check to make sure that you've completed the SoCO Eats Delivery Driver registration process at deliver.socoeats.com. This includes: creating your profile, uploading your selfie, and accepting all of the SoCO Eats Terms of Service.
As soon as your background check is initiated, you'll receive a message from Checkr with the next steps. Please keep in mind that there is a limited time to dispute a background check, so remember to check your inbox and spam folder for any emails from Checkr.
